Youth Coach In Metairie, Louisiana Accused Of Spooning With Drunk Juveniles At His Party0
A youth sports coach in Metairie, Louisiana was arrested this summer on claims that he provided alcohol to minors during a party at his home. The coach has now been accused of spooning with three drunk boys on his bed. 55-year-old Allen Joseph served as a playground coach in Jefferson Parish. He volunteered at Cleary, Mike Miley, Girard, and Delta playgrounds.
He was also an assistant football coach at the Jesuit High School in New Orleans. In 1992, Joseph served as a paid supervisor at Girard. He only held that position for one year. The Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office claims that Joseph provided three unidentified boys with alcohol.
The boys ended up severely intoxicated at Joseph’s home on North Sibley Street on August 5. It is alleged that Allen Joseph got into bed with the three boys and pressed his body up against one, while another filmed it all on SnapChat.
Initially, Joseph was booked on three counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor. At the time, the allegations only accused Joseph of providing the boys with alcohol. He was released on a $1,500 bond. On Thursday, Joseph was booked on one count of indecent behavior with a juvenile. The charge stems from the contract with the boy who Joseph allegedly rubbed up against.
As a result of the initial arrest, Joseph was banned from all parish playgrounds. Indecent behavior with a juvenile carries a maximum penalty of seven years in prison and a fine of $5,000. Authorities now believe that there may be additional victims from Joseph’s past. Anyone with information is encouraged to contact the Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office.
