Texas Mom Gets Drunk And Lets Child Crash Car0
On December the 8th, a Texas mother found herself in hot water after allowing her 7-year-old son to drive. The woman was arrested after she allegedly allowed her son to sit on her lap and take control of the steering wheel. The woman admitted she was simply too drunk to drive at the time. Now, 41-year-old Carrie Lynn Fink of Lufkin, Texas is facing two felony charges.
Fink has been charged with child endangerment and driving while intoxicated with a child under the age of 15 in the car. An employee at 1005 South Timberland spoke with police and confirmed they had witnessed the accident. Yvette De La Garza admitted to personally seeing Carrie operating the vehicle with the child, Clayton, in her lap.
She also watched as the vehicle crashed into a nearby fence. Fink has since been released from the Angelina County Jail on a $4,000 bond.
