Ohio Woman Cited After Daughter Calls And Tells Cop She Is Too Drunk To Drive0
As a parent, it is your responsibility to be the responsible party. You’re supposed to be a role model for your children. Unfortunately, a lot of parents have ignored this golden rule. Instead, they consistently do idiotic things, such as getting drunk and passing out in front of their children. On September 10, 2017, a woman in Seven Hills, Ohio put her daughter in a precarious situation. Thankfully, the 15-year-old daughter rose above and made the right decision.
Police were dispatched to a Kmart on Broadview Road in relation to an intoxicated Broadview Heights woman. The caller turned out to be the woman’s 15-year-old daughter. She alerted authorities to her mother’s condition and complained that she thought her mother was too drunk to drive. According to the daughter, the mother had been drinking vodka at a laundromat.
When the mother attempted to drive away, she determined that she was too tipsy to drive. Instead, she parked the automobile and climbed into the back seat. Initially, the daughter attempted to call her father, but she couldn’t get in touch with him. Then, she did the next best thing. She called the police.
Police found the woman in the backseat of the car. They also discovered an open bottle of vodka and an empty bottle of liquor. The woman was transported to the hospital. She has now been cited for disorderly conduct, open container and endangering children.
