Michigan Police Arrest Intoxicated Motorist In Possession Of Meth In Hillsdale County


Between October 27 to October 29, the Michigan State Police Jackson post investigated 42 incidents and calls for service. One event took place in the Fayette Township area of Hillsdale County. Troopers were notified of a potential intoxicated driver. A traffic stop was ultimately initiated and a 38-year-old man from Coldwater was pulled to the side of the road.

It was quickly determined that the man was intoxicated. A search of the suspect revealed that he was in possession of methamphetamine. The man was arrested and booked into the Hillsdale County Jail. In another incident in Hillsdale Township, troopers responded to a two-vehicle crash. After arriving at the scene and investigating, officers learned that one driver, a 36-year-old man from Hillsdale, was driving while intoxicated.

He was ultimately arrested and booked into the Hillsdale County Jail.
