Man Steals Multiple Bottles Of Vodka and Jack Daniels At Brownsville Township CVS


Brownstown Township Police are investigating a theft at a CVS in Brownstown Township, Pennsylvania.

Approximately 7:30 p.m. August 27, police were dispatched to the CVS at 18900 Telegraph Road to investigate a reported theft. At the scene, the responding officers spoke with an employee who told them a man entered the store, representing himself as a shopper. He filled a basket with two bottles of Crown Royal, two bottles of Absolut Vodka, a bottle of Svedka Strawberry Vodka and eight bottles of Jack Daniels, before fleeing the store on foot.

The employee described the man around 6 feet in height and 230 pounds. According to the news release, the man entered the liquor department, filled his basket and walked right out the door.

She said she attempted to capture a picture of the man, but he sped away in a gold or tan Monte Carlo west on Sibley Road. The theft was captured on the store’s surveillance camera.

The news release reports that a red basket bearing the CVS logo was found on Sibley Road and Beech Daly.
