Kingsley, Michigan Man Arrested For Being Drunk With A Firearm


Late last week, it was announced that a man from Kingsley, Michigan had been arrested for possessing a firearm while intoxicated. The 24-year-old man registered a .21 blood-alcohol content when tested at the Grand Traverse Sheriff’s Office Jail. When officers made contact with the man, they discovered a loaded handgun around his waist.

The incident took place around 7:30 PM on Friday, October 13. The man was outside of his apartment on Brownson Avenue when several witnesses spotted him behaving awkwardly. Witnesses eventually told authorities than the gentleman was urinating on his vehicle and arguing with people outside.

The suspect also told others that he had a gun. After interviewing witnesses, deputies approached and arrested the man. At this point in time, the suspect’s name has not been released.
