Intoxicated Indiana Firefighter Hits And Kills Another Firefighter0
Indiana State Police say a volunteer firefighter who was driving while intoxicated struck another vehicle occupied by a fellow firefighter. Colby Blake, 26, of Cannelburg traveled to Daviess County in his personal vehicle to work a collision.
Upon arrival at the accident scene, Blake for unknown reasons crashed into several parked vehicles and struck fellow firefighter, Kendall Murphy, 27, of Montgomery.
Murphy was pronounced deceased at the scene, the New York Post reports.
Blake blew a 0.21 on the Breathalyzer test – more than double the legal limit in Indiana. He was charged with reckless driving and driving while intoxicated causing death.
