Deli Worker Heads To Jail After Burglarizing A Bulldozer And Making A Simple Mistake0
This week, it was announced that a man in Monroe County, Florida had been taken to jail for burglarizing a bulldozer. Unfortunately, the man made a simple mistake, which led to his downfall. He left his wallet behind, making it easy for cops to track him down a short time after the incident.
65-year-old Mark Moses of Big Pine Key was taken into custody on Thursday. He is accused of breaking into a bulldozer and damaging the windshield and mirrors. Yes, the old feller was drunk all the while. Unfortunately, he left his wallet behind.
He also left behind a spilled beer, cigarette butts, and a pair of sneakers. The man works as a deli worker in Summerland Key. Moses left his driver’s license, Social Security card and VA card in his wallet. Detectives were able to track him down at a nearby Winn-Dixie not too long after the crime was committed.
Deputies confirm that Moses admitted to entering the bulldozer. However, he promised that he had no memory of what happened in the cabin. Moses has been charged with burglary and criminal mischief. He was subsequently booked into the Monroe County Jail.
