Shon Houston Smith was arrested on November the 5th, after officers were sent to investigate reports that someone was trying to steal alcohol. Witnesses at the scene told police that Smith had fled from the area. Authorities began looking for him immediately. Eventually, Smith’s vehicle was spotted and he was ordered to pull over.
Sharon Police say a father of a two-year-old was passed out drunk, as the child drowned in the neighbor’s pool. The child wandered a mile away from the home, climbed in the neighbor’s backyard pool and drowned, the Daily Mail reports.

Fairfax County Police say students discovered a Northern Virginia substitute teacher at a desk unresponsive. Konbeth Koroma, 24, of Springfield was filling in for an art teacher at a public high school, Associated Press reports.
Polk County Sheriff’s officials say a 53-year-old woman arrested for driving under the influence after she was observed riding a horse down a congested highway. A motorist called 911 to report the woman, who was possibly in danger and appeared confused, the CBS Miami reports.

On Wednesday morning, a drunk Wichita Falls teen was arrested after getting violent with a paramedic. 17-year-old Richard Alexander Fuentes has been charged with public intoxication and assault on a public servant. If found guilty on the assault charge, the teen could face two to ten years in prison. As of Thursday afternoon, Fuentes remained at the Wichita County Jail with a bond of $5,000.
On Wednesday, it was announced that Sophomore Indiana University baseball pitcher, Cameron Beauchamp, had been arrested early that morning. The 19-year-old was arrested on charges of operating while intoxicated and minor possession/consumption of alcohol. The pitcher was transported to the Monroe County Correctional Center at roughly 1:40 AM on Wednesday.
